We recommend that every fence be built on galvanized fence posts because you will never have to worry about rotting. Unlike any other fence company, Diamond-Back Fence only uses 9' instead of 8' posts to ensure that your fence doesn't lean or fall in the future.
Pressure treated 4x4's are a great option to use of you are looking to save some money on your next fence. The are very sturdy, but are susceptible to rotting due to there constant contact with the ground.
Pressure treated pine 2x4's are used on every fence we build. We use them for the runners on the fence. We recommend these 2x4's because water typically pools on the runners and the treated wood is less susceptible to rotting.
Cedar Pickets are by far the best option if you are looking for your fence to last a long time. Cedar pickets have a natural insect repellent to them and are less likely to be susceptible to termites or spiders. They are also the most aesthetically pleasing pickets as well.
Treated Pine Pickets is a great wood to use if you are looking to save some extra money on your next fence. One major draw back to this picket is that susceptible to warping sooner than the cedar picket.
Fir Pickets, just like the pine pickets, are a great wood to use if you are looking to save some extra money on your next fence. One major draw back to this picket is that susceptible to warping sooner than the cedar picket.
